Nokia 9.3 PureView to have 120Hz refresh rate screen, 108MP main camera

The latest Nokia 9.3 PureView rumor suggests it will jump on the high refresh rate bandwagon with a 120Hz display. It’s unclear whether it will be an LCD or OLED display, but consider given rumors of an under-display selfie camera and the Nokia 9 legacy, it’s likely to be an OLED panel.

The Nokia 9.3 PureView is rumored to be likely to ditch the dual-trigger cameras for a conventional setup, highlighted by a Samsung-made 108MP main camera and possibly at least another 64MP camera (maybe like a zoom?) .

Reports suggest that HMD experimented with 24MP, 20MP and 48MP sensors for the Nokia 9.3 PureView, before landing on the main 108MP snapper. The device is expected to launch in August or September.

The Nokia 9.3 PureView has been delayed a few times – it was originally in development as the Nokia 9.1, mind you, then the Nokia 9.2 and now the Nokia 9.3. A jump from the originally planned Snapdragon 855 to the Snapdragon 865 is said to be the reason for one of the delays.

HMD’s latest flagship was the Nokia 9 PureView and it was a bit disappointing in real life, although it sounded exciting on paper. We look forward to a punchier Nokia 9.3 PureView.
