Alleged Meizu 17 Pro gets 3C certified with 40W charging support

The Meizu 17 is coming on April 17 with a Snapdragon 865 SoC, but alongside that we might get a Pro version as well.

The company has yet to confirm the existence of a 17 Pro, but a Meizu smartphone with model code M091Q has achieved 3C certification.

Alleged Meizu 17 Pro gets 3C certification with 40W charging support

The Chinese CA’s website reveals that the M091Q will support 40W charging, which is 10W faster than the vanilla Meizu 17, clearly indicating a more premium version. Additionally, 3C reveals that the M091Q will support 5G networks.

The Meizu 17 Pro was supposed to charge up to 65W, drawing power through a GaN charger. But it turns out the leak was either fake or it was a third phone – the Pro+ versions are getting more and more popular these days, so who knows.
